Jade

We found a cat that we named Jade. We feed her and she stays on our porch. I love her. We found her in Israel where we are working for a month. She has long claws for hunting. We got her expensive cat food. Well, it was more expensive than the chicken sausages we bought at the MEGA grocery in the Jewish part of town! Before that we gave her pieces of beef from our frig. We have seen a few chameleons too. One was pure, dark green, and another one was sort of brown and green with yellow spots. They are the kind with the squiggly eyes that can swivvel around. There's another kind of lizard here that runs with its head up. Mom says it reminds her of the little dinosaurs we've seen in digital movies.

I'm happy you found a cat to love while you're in Israel. In keeping up with your blog, I'm thinking that someday you might want to pursue an education in Herpetology. You would do great! One of your third cousin's on your Dad's side has pursued that major in college and this summer he has an internship at the Inner Harbor Aquarium in Baltimore, MD. He will be a senior next year and hopes to get a permanant job there. Keep up the good work, Nina.
